In 1995, Clayton Goodman began moving safes because no one else wanted to.  Rudimentary self-made or second hand tools and equipment were all that a part time college student could afford to tackle the most difficult high-security safe moves in the Greater Houston Area’s booming jewelry industry. Using an appliance dolly in the back of a service van to deliver gun safes for the largest sports and outdoors store in Texas seemed like a nice break from moving 5,000-pound jewelry safes with pry bars, hand winches, and rollers at the time.  When it comes to moving safes, Goodman Safe and Lock has been there, done that, and has the souvenir T-shirt to prove it.
